Thank you so much! I love the suggestion. This also opens up the possibility to chain multiple bush boost after eachother, allowing you to stay the same color even longer.

Thanks for your input. I agree that the gameplay can feel somewhat one-dimensional. We had many fun ideas but a lack of time, such as an upgrading system, a dash, a sticky tongue, and, of course, guns—okay, maybe not guns. Did you think of any fun additions while playing?

Thank you, Huey is glad you enjoyed his tutorial!

Thanksss, good input. thought Chooky had implemented a 2-second limit on the entire score counting sequence, but I guess that detail slipped through. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hey Swoopie, we really appreciate your comments!

I agree that the current gameplay features and balancing sometimes boil down to (bad) luck. We considered adding ways to move quicker, like a dash, a sticky tongue, or even teleporting, but sadly, we didn't have enough time to implement those.

You can see when and to what color you're changing via the UI in the bottom right. A sound, like a countdown, before the change is a great idea.

Now that I'm thinking about it, an alternative way to communicate this to the player without adding more UI is to make Huey's skin color blink two seconds before he changes, back and forth, from the current to the new color.

Great input, thanks Swoopie! Glad you enjoyed playing as Hueeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hahah, we speculated about this happening.  We're sorry it happend to you.

Butttt we're Glad you screenshot it, We're going to frame it :))
What did you think about the rest of the game?

I love my morning run after I shot down a couple of mutated ducks.
I got stuck here. No really I could't jump out there... I'm still here, help.

The dark toned art style juxtaposed to the happy bit tune, really gives it a dystopian feeling.
Perhaps adding more dept to the platforming part would balance the gameplay loop a bit!

Good stuuff

Love the look and feel of the game.  Scrubs are meta. I'm sad that I can't  see the leaderboards, what kind of scores did you guys get?

I failed to save the baby bird. Now I'm sad...

Really like how the movement system creates ways of playing; the first time I played, I slowed down my baby bird, having a more controlled but slow play. After it eventually died, I went full speed boat rocket mode, shooting past tree branches left and right.

I really like the whole neon pixel game feel! Would be sick as a movement type game.

At some point all my symbols were gone while I still had quite a lot of time left on the clock, but perhaps im missing something. Oh and I love that spinny thing.

Never thought I'd be enjoy being a jester.... But here I am.

Ah thank you, that's a lovely compliment. I'm glad you enjoy our game!

Killed all the creepy bois, until i didn't... Fun game!

I agree with @Alimen6, a boost in movement would improve the intensity and add to the overal chaos. You could make the speed boost stackable, less effective and permanent; Make people find their optimal speed. Oh and I liked the sound design, really got me in the zoneeee.

Good luck!

Hey Jellyalv your google docs link isnt working!
